GR 18 - Postings in Open Periods

*NOTE: All these items are NOT shown in your financials statement because the period they are posted in has not yet been closed!

What this report does

• This report prints a listing of transactions that have been posted but not closed in your general ledger.

• Any posting tagged with an 'A' will print.

Types of G/L postings

• Unposted (U) = not posted to any account in your general ledger. These transactions are waiting in GU 1.

• Posted (A) = Posted to the general ledger but the period has not yet been closed.

• Closed (H) = Posted to the general ledger and the period has been properly closed.

How to select the report

1. From the main applications menu Go to GR (General Ledger Reports)
2. Select option 18 (Postings in open periods)
3. The report will go to your default printer. See examples below.
