Method 1 - Multi-location, 1 server

- Setup a transfer account in each system at each location (RU #3)
- customer class code is '6' (Transfer Account)
- setup a job account for each location you are transferring inventory
into
- job 001 = transfer inventory to location 001
- job 002 = transfer inventory to location 002
- job 003 = transfer inventory to location 003
- job 004 = transfer inventory to location 004
- etc.
- Assign G/L numbers to the transfer accounts (MU #10)
- 20 = master account
- 21 = job (location) 1
- 22 = job (location) 2
- 23 = job (location) 3
- 24 = job (location) 4
- etc.
- Run sales transfers from the location you want to transfer inventory
from (SU #1)
- All sales to job '001' would post inventory to that location
Method 2 - Running transfers from/to a non-existent location -

Run transfers from non-existent company
- Go to IU #15 (Transfer & Adjustment)
- Option 1 (Transfers & Adjustments)

Multi-company
1 server multiple independent corporations
- Setup a transfer account in each system at each location (RU #3)
- customer class code is '6' (Transfer Account)
- setup a job account for each location you are transferring inventory
into
- job 001 = transfer inventory to location 001
- job 002 = transfer inventory to location 002
- job 003 = transfer inventory to location 003
- job 004 = transfer inventory to location 004
- etc.
