Q. Problem with On-hand and On-order quantities not matching
If there are no open tickets containing the sku in question do the following to correct the sku quantities.
  • Go to IU #3 (Manual Physical Inventory
  • put the sku number in
  • put the correct quantity in (even if it is the same as is shown)
  • Exit and check in 'II #1' if the quantity is correctly adjusted.

Older software Versions:

  • If your software version does not have 'IU #3 Manual Physical Inventory' you will need to do the following:
  • strdfu
  • take option #5
  • type in the following:
    Data file >> ivmst
    Member >> *first
  • type in the sku # and location (usually 01)
  • put in the correct on hand quantities
  • Exit and check in 'II #1' if the quantity is correctly adjusted.

Q. Something happened to one of our skus last week and it is no longer in our system. How can I get this back and not lose the history on it?
  • A. The sku was tagged for deletion through MU 18, 2 (Delete Inventory Requested) and then deleted with option 14 (Delete Inventory Items).
  • The original history was not deleted (II 4 - Audit History). Recreate the sku using the same item number and the history will be again available for viewing.
  • Why this happened. This issue occurs when someone adds valid sku's to the inventory delete request file then confirms its deletion from the inventory file.
