  Help my system is going very slow:

  We investigated this issue and the problem was where a user had a file lock on the records you were trying to use. Basically no two people can be editing (i.e. IU #4) the same sku or ticket at the same time.

  Research notes are shown below:

  • WRKACTJOB (or ESCAPE + Work with Active Jobs Option)

  • Page down to where you start to see the error message(s)
    Record 26603 in use by job 282824/EH/C4
    This indicates that someone is in edit mode on the record (sku/ticket...) that you are trying to edit.
  • Put the cursor over the line and press F1 if you want a fully detailed explanation.

    Cause . . . . . : You cannot get record number 26603 record format OHEADR
    member number 1 in member ORDHDR file ORDHDR in library IBS400F because
    record number 26603 is being used by job 282824/EH/C4.
    The error code is 2. If the error code is 1, then this error occurred when
    record number 26603 was locked by job 282824/EH/C4 which was waiting on a
    lock held by this job. If the error code is 2, then job 282824/EH/C4 was
    not waiting on a lock held by this job.
    Recovery . . . : Try your request again when record number 26603 is
    available.
    Possible choices for replying to message . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . :
    C -- The request is canceled.
    I -- The request is ignored.
• Resolution

  Have the user with the file lock exit the ticket or sku that he/she is editing.
