Description

  • The New IBM 8245 10/100 Ethernet Hub is a dual speed (10Base-T and 100Base-TX), dual back plane stackable hub.
  • There are four models available.
    The new IBM 8245-112 and the new
    IBM 8245-124 are managed hubs that can manage the new IBM 8245-012 and the new
    IBM 8245-024 in a stacked Ethernet configuration. A maximum of six hubs can be in one stack providing up to 144 ports in the stack.
  • The IBM 8245 model 012 and the IBM 8245 model 024 are manageable hubs which can be used with managed hubs or by themselves in a stack of up to six.
  • The IBM 8245 model 112 and the IBM 8245 model 124 are both managed hubs that provide management to a stack of hubs. Managed hubs support SNMP, four groups of RMON and are Web Server accessible.
