Creating a Query with OS/400

How to create (copy) a new query from an old one

• Go to a command line and type "wrkqry" then press ENTER

• Next type in the information as follows

  Option should have a "2" (Change)
  Library should say #QUERY
  Query you can type in or press F4 (Listing)

• On the next screen you will need to scroll down to an existing query and do a "3" (Copy) an exiting query into a new query then press ENTER

3 = Copy an existing query into a new query

• Type in the name of your new query then press ENTER You cannot use the name of an existing query

• Now do a "2" (change) beside your new query and press ENTER
