Cobra System's BCM3000 External Barcode Module transforms any standard laser,
matrix, or inkjet printer into a powerful barcode labeling printer.
- The BCM3000 simply extends the printer's capabilities to
include barcodes, scalable text and line & box drawing without affecting
normal printer operation. With both parallel and serial interfaces, the
BCM3000 connects to systems ranging from PCs to mainframes. Using the same
PCE command language pioneered by previous Cobra products, programming is
simple. A single command generates a complete barcode. Programs developed
for one printer can be used to drive others. Upgrading for faster output or
selecting the most suitable for an application requires little or no
software revision.
