Transfer Journals

Single Location Transfers

  • If you issue a transfer the 'TJ...' will appear on your GL.
  • If you are a single location you may be required to make an offsetting entry to the $$$ amount of inventory transferred out of your inventory.

Multi-Location Transfers

  • If you issue a transfer the 'TJ...' will appear on your GL.  This indicates that a transfer has occurred.  Look for the offsetting entry.
  • You should not be required to make an offsetting entry for transfers.
