Recommended Division of Labor for Managing your Accounting Software
- If you are using
A/P and no other accounting package
- You should plan for a minimum of 1-3 hours labor per
day in a mid-sized operation.
- If you are using
A/P, G/L & Payroll
- You should have an on-staff (full time) bookkeeper
and/or accountant
- Please note that you cannot manage A/P, G/L & Payroll
without a full time assigned bookkeeper or accountant.
- If you are using
A/P & G/L
- You should have an on-staff (1/2 time or full time)
bookkeeper and/or accountant
- Please note that most operations that run G/L require
a full time bookkeeper.
- If you are using
G/L & Payroll
- You should have an on-staff (full time) bookkeeper
and/or accountant
- Please note that it is difficult to manage both G/L &
Payroll without a full time accounting person.
