• STRHOSTSVR  *ALL  << WHEN THE ERROR MESSAGE BELOW APPEARS THIS PROCESS HAS COMPLETED >> 

  Why does this error message appear?  ...unable to communicate using IPX.

  • IPX is a different networking protocol NOT USED by IBS Corporation. 
  • When you typed '*ALL' after the start host server command it instructed the system to start all communication servers including 'IPX' which is not used.
